How a Commission Works

  1. 1

    Get in touch

Email linde.kriel@icloud.com with a short description of what you have in mind.

  2. 2

    Let's talk

We arrange a call or meeting to discuss your ideas, size, medium, timeline and budget.

  3. 3

    Reference image

I send you the planned reference image for your artwork.

  4. 4

    Contract and deposit

Once you are happy with the reference, I send you a commission contract. Sign and return it with a 50% deposit of the agreed price to begin.

  5. 5

    Progress check-ins

You will receive two or three progress photographs during the making of the work, where you can make suggestions and request changes.

  6. 6

    Completion and delivery

Once the artwork is complete and the remaining 50% has been paid, delivery or collection is arranged.

Cancellations and refunds

  • If I am unable to complete the commission due to personal circumstances, your deposit will be refunded.
  • If, after the progress check-ins have been completed, you are not happy with the finished artwork, you are not required to pay the remaining 50%. In this case the artwork remains with the artist and the deposit is not refunded.
