Commission Terms

Process

Get in touch. Email linde.kriel@icloud.com with a short description of what you have in mind.
Let's talk. We arrange a call or meeting to discuss your ideas, size, medium, timeline and budget.
Reference image. I send you the planned reference image for your artwork.
Contract and deposit. Once you are happy with the reference, I send you a commission contract. Sign and return it with a 50% deposit of the agreed price to begin.
Progress check-ins. You will receive two or three progress photographs during the making of the work, where you can make suggestions and request changes.
Completion and delivery. Once the artwork is complete and the remaining 50% has been paid, delivery or collection is arranged.

If I am unable to complete the commission due to personal circumstances, your deposit will be refunded.
If, after the progress check-ins have been completed, you are not happy with the finished artwork, you are not required to pay the remaining 50%. In this case the artwork remains with the artist and the deposit is not refunded.
